The following is a complete list of the techniques and patterns that are required in order to advance from Red Stripe to Red Belt.

(Note: During a test, students may be called on to perform any techniques and patterns learned at previous belt levels).


Floor Work (Basic Techniques)

(Note: As this is a time where students are building a foundation in order to be ready for more advanced techniques; few new basic techniques are introduced. The focus of this belt level is on improving performance on the techniques already learned).


Green Belt Techniques

- Knife Hand Strike, Jumping Turning Kick (Guarding Form)

- Swing Kick (Guarding Form)

- Twin Forearm Block (Forward Stance)

- U-Shape Block (Back Stance)

- Jumping Front Snap Kick (Back Leg), Double Punch (Guarding Form)

Blue Belt Techniques

- Side Snap, All-Around Swing Kick (Guarding Form)

- Side Snap, Jumping Turn Around Side Snap Kick (Guarding Form)

- Double Kick, Continuous (Guarding Form)

- Step Back, Jumping Turn Around Side Snap Kick (Guarding Form)

- Sliding Side Snap, Jumping Turn Around Side Snap Kick (Guarding Form)
